David Brus analyses for Atuna within the EU retail sector tuna prices, product availability, sustainability claims and innovations on tuna across all segments.
He has Dutch nationality and was born in 1997. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in International Economics & Business Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Brus is currently following an extensive course in Behavioral Economics for his specialization.
He has completed several full tuna factory operational training programs, in processing, loining and HACCP; these at processing plants in Indonesia and Colombia among others.
David Brus will give present an analysis based on photographs and video from a variety of canned tuna supermarket shelves within the major EU markets, with a special focus on the catching methods and sustainability claims communicated on the products, the amount of shelf space, private label vs branded and the positioning.
