EUROPEAN TUNA CONFERENCE 2009

The Conference, which was held on April 27th, was attended by about 200 participants from 44 countries. Among participants were visitors from most European nations, as well from North America, South America, Micronesia, Africa, Asia and Australia.

The European Tuna Conference Brussels 2009 was designed to bring together professionals from all parts of the global tuna business and present the latest developments and innovations in the ever changing EURO 5.3 billion European tuna market.

The event, which took place in Brussels, the capital of the European Union, on Monday April 27th 2009, one day before the European Seafood Exposition (ESE), was organized by Atuna.com in cooperation with Infofish. It was held in the Conference Center of the Sheraton Brussels Hotel & Towers, in the heart of Brussels, the capital of the European Union.

The European Tuna Conference was experienced by most visitors as an excellent networking event, in preparation for the ESE show –the world's largest seafood show- which started the next day, and lasted for 3 days.
