Daniel Suddaby
SFI Tuna Manager, WWF

Daniel Suddaby has over ten years of marine conservation experience both in the UK and internationally, with a specific focus on of the impacts of fisheries. He has begun working at WWF in February 2011 were he now leads, manages, and coordinates the WWF Network’s Smart Fishing Initiative priority commodity; tuna. His key functions include; strategically serving, managing and coordinating the WWF Networks efforts to reduce major fishing footprint threats like overfishing and bycatch in tuna fisheries in close cooperation of the WWF network.

He came to WWF with over five years experience in the policy generating team at the innovative market-based NGO, Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). Here he has been working to; improve the credible sustainability assessments of fisheries, lead and manage the technical review process of the MSC fisheries team, and develop and implement policies and processes to strengthen the MSC fisheries assessment programme.
