Guus Pastoor is a leading figure in the European seafood sector with over two decades of experience in advocacy, market organization and industry policy.
Since 2010, he has been the President of Seafood Europe (EU Fish Processors Federation). He also holds numerous senior positions, including Chairman of the Board of Visfederatie and the Shrimp Interbranch Organization.
As Vice Chair of the Dutch Fish Marketing Board and the Dutch Fish Importers Association, and as Chairperson of the North Sea Advisory Committee General Assembly, he is closely involved in shaping European fisheries, trade and sustainability policy. His work is characterized by close cooperation with EU institutions, industry and stakeholders along the entire value chain.
